Marko Ahtisaari (born 1969[1] in Helsinki, Finland) is a Finnish technology entrepreneur and musician.
Marko Ahtisaari is the son of Martti Ahtisaari, a former UN diplomat, President of Finland. He attended Columbia University where he studied philosophy, economics and music.
Ahtisaari's business career has spanned new media company Satama Interactive[2] and advertisement-supported mobile network Blyk.[3] Ahtisaari was a founding investor and former CEO of online business travel startup Dopplr,[4][5] which was acquired by Nokia in 2009. As of February 2011, Ahtisaari runs Nokia's Design unit, responsible for Nokia product and user experience design.[6]
In addition to his business career, Ahtisaari is an occasional musician and once received a Grammy Showcase Award for new artists.[7]
